Below are FAQs about the Summit and their responses:
When is the summit taking place?
The summit will be held from Wednesday 19th November 2025 to Friday 21st November 2025 at InterContinental Hotel, Lusaka, Zambia.
How do I register for the conference?
Registration for the conference is online. Should you experience any difficulties registering, contact conference@kenyare.co.ke for guidance.
Who is attending the summit?
The summit will be attended by industry leaders and senior executives from multi-national organisations from the insurance, banking and telecom sectors across Africa and the globe.
How far is the summit venue from recommended accommodations?
Most partner hotels are located within a 15-minute drive from the venue. We have negotiated special rates with all hotels for delegates.
Is the summit secretariat assisting with hotel bookings?
We have secured discounted rates and reserved rooms at select hotels near the venue.
Delegates are advised to secure their accommodation directly with their preferred hotel using the contact details provided on this site. To access exclusive summit rates, please indicate that you are attending the Kenya Re CEOs Summit when making your reservation.

Do I need a visa to travel to Zambia?
Visa entry requirements vary based on delegate nationality. Please consult the official list of countries requiring visas for Zambia through the Internet. We strongly recommend verifying your specific visa requirements well in advance of travel.
For registered delegates requiring visa invitation letters to support their application, please contact conference@kenyare.co.ke with your registration details.
Are there any attendance fees?
Attendance at the conference is complimentary for all registered delegates. Participants will be responsible for covering their own travel and accommodation expenses.
We are pleased to provide the following inclusions:
All meals during conference hours
Local transportation between summit venue and partner hotels
Full coverage of costs for organised excursions

What is the theme of the conference?
The theme of this years CEOs Summit is “The Nexus of Insurance, Banking and Telecom for Economic Transformation”
What topics will be discussed during the conference?
The conference will feature 5 panel discussions with a keynote address and 5 speakers each featuring panellists exploring the following themes:
· Digital Transformation & Innovation
· Financial Inclusion & Economic Empowerment
· Regulatory Frameworks and Policy Synergies
· Strategic Collaboration and Convergence
· Climate Resilience and Sustainable Finance
Can I be considered as a speaker / panellist?
There are limited speaking opportunities, you may contact conference@kenyare.co.ke for to express your interest. Sponsor partners of Platinum and Gold will each receive 1 speaking opportunity as part of the benefits.
Are there side events outside the main conference?
Yes, the summit will feature dinners, excursions and cocktails as follows:
· Tuesday 18th November 2025: Arrival, registration & welcome cocktail.
o 8:00am – 5:00pm Arrival and registration
o 6:00pm Welcome Cocktail (Dress code: Semi-formal cocktail attire)
· Wednesday 19th November 2025: Day 1 of the summit
o 9:00am – 10:30am: Opening ceremony
o 11:00am – 4:00pm: Conference
o 6:30 pm Gala dinner (Dress code: Black tie)
· Thursday 20th November 2025: Day 2 of the summit
o 9:00am – 2:30pm: Conference
o 2:30pm – 3:30pm: Closing ceremony
o 6:30 pm - Closing dinner (Dress code: A Touch of Your Cultural Attire)
· Friday 12th September 2025: Excursions
o Trip to the Lusaka National Park
o Boat cruise on the Kafue River
o Trip to the Chaminuka Lodge
Can I send a representative if I'm unable to attend?
Substitutions are permitted until 11th November 2025. Please notify us via email at conference@kenyare.co.ke with the replacement's details.
Is transportation provided?
Complimentary shuttle services will run between Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and the partner hotels and the venue during peak hours. Schedule details will be shared closer to the event.
Are branding opportunities available for organisations?
Yes! Custom sponsorship packages include branding visibility.

Will there be exhibition booths?
Limited exhibition spaces are available. Booths can be reserved during registration or by emailing conference@kenyare.co.ke .
What sponsorship opportunities exist?
We offer tiered sponsorships (Platinum/Gold/Silver) with varying benefits. Email us at conference@kenyare.co.ke to discuss.
Can I attend both excursions on the final day of the summit?
Delegates are required to pick one excursion to attend.
Is there a dress code for the summit and associated events?
To ensure all delegates feel comfortable and appropriately dressed for each event, we recommend the following attire:
· Event-Specific Dress Codes:
o Semi-Formal Cocktail Attire
o Dress smartly with a polished, elegant look. (Men: Suit or dress pants with a blazer, button-down shirt (tie optional) and Women: Cocktail dress, dressy blouse with skirt or tailored pants.)
o Day 2: Black Tie
o Formal evening wear is expected. (Men: Black tuxedo or dark formal suit, white dress shirt, black bow tie and Women: Floor-length gown or an elegant evening dress.)
o Day 3: A Touch of Your Cultural Attire
o Celebrate and share your heritage with a cultural flair. (Incorporate an element of traditional or cultural clothing into your outfit, this can be as subtle or bold as you prefer. Fusion styles are welcome, combining cultural and contemporary fashion.
o Excursions: Safari
o Casual (comfortable, practical clothing)
Will the summit be conducted purely in English?
The primary working language of the summit will be English. For your convenience, we are pleased to provide:
· Real-time interpretation services:
o Wireless intercom systems
o On-screen interpreters for main sessions
• Summit materials:
o All official documents available in both English and French
o Presentation slides displayed in English with French translations
Will there be photography and videography at the summit?
Yes. We request as part of your registration that you grant us consent to use your image under the provisions of the Zambia Data Protection Act, 2021.
Is there a designated prayer space available?
Yes, there will be a prayer room available for Muslim attendees. The room will also be equipped with prayer mats.
Will there be any social events where alcohol is served?
Some evening receptions may serve alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic options will always be available and clearly marked.
Is there a way to verify the Halal status of the food?
We have made arrangements to ensure that Halal food/meals are served during the conference. The catering company has been vetted, and they've assured us that the Halal food items are sourced from certified suppliers
